Home Domain

Hey guys,
I've configured a laptop as my home domain "domain1.local". It is running DNS, DHCP, AD. I have configured all roles correctly and I have connected the DC to a unmanage Dell PowerConnect switch.
I have my client which is windows 7 Pro connected to the switch as well. However, it is unable to acquire a valid IP address from my DHCP. I've checked the DHCP logs and all seems fine. The scope is authorize and activated.

someeh Member Posts: 143After some trial and error, I noticed RRAS was enabled. I stopped it and the laptop acquire an IP.
I have no Vm's, just 2 physical laptops. Client1 isn't joined to the domain.
