in CCNA & CCENT
For the past 6 years I have been involved in Desktop Support/2nd Line.
I am not finding that there is a lack of desire for the job I am doing and would like to up my level with knowledge on the Server/network side.
I was hoping to study Cisco and Servers.
From a CCENT perspective what self learn material would you all advise me to learn from?
I am person who doesn't learn well from just reading and likes to practice things in a lab or virtual lab.
Any help would be much appreicated!

lantech Member Posts: 329It's a good thing you like to do practice labs because you will have to do labs to pass the CCNA.
The two books that seem to be the standard are by Odom and Lammle. Some like Odom better others like Lammle. It's going to just boil down to which ever one you prefer. Go to a bookstore and read a little bit from each one to see which you like better.2012 Certification Goals

Which one would you recommend and are labs including with these books or where can I find some online e-labs?
I have seen Odom but which edition is worth getting as I heard the 3rd edition is not as good as the 2nd?
