Hey everyone. I am back with my infamous job post thread 'trend.
Today's is a goodie.
You like networking?
You work helpdesk or tech support?
1-3 years of IT experience, mostly LAN, WAN and VoIP sided?
Fast learner?
Positive attidude?
Want to break into networking without watching an alert monitor for 10 hour shifts and only escalating?
Well here is a great in for you. My company has an opening for someone in our NOC Operations department. Level 1 and 2 tech who will be straight away expected to handle everything from a T1 circuit being down to VoIP quality issues, to MPLS down times to configuring routers, firewalls and appliance devices, then you're in for a treat.
Essentially, if you can do well as a Network, VoIP and Managed Security configuration, lab, helpdesk and troubleshooting guy, you have a future to specialize. We're having a difficult time finding qualified candidates who are Low-Mid career who want to leave 13/ hour work and get in the heat of working with an aggressive ISP/MSP.
Link is posted, apply. If you would like to do a mini introduction and PM me, I will be glad to get your resume on the table first if I feel you would be a good fit.
Network Operations #1 Rated ISP/MSP
Thanks guys, let's hope we can find some good entry level engineers this month.

Jackace Member Posts: 335How does your company feel about candidates that are relocating for these type of NOC positions? Is that acceptable or are you looking for local candidates only?
I'm not in a position to relocate yet, but after the first of the year this is the type of opportunity I will be looking to find. -

As Harvey birdman would say: COLOR=#a9a9a9]If he was an inspiring network engineer that will do basicly anything to get a foot in the right spot[/COLOR:
I'll take the job!
I would need to relocate, coming from South Carolina! But I'll gladly give my 2 week notification All I require for food is a really large bag of trail mix.In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.
