Need help with interview

I'm not really sure where to post this so I'm just going to ask here. I've got an interview on Tuesday morning for a NOC position at a large corporation. This position will require monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing applications. I'm not sure what kind of applications they are using or what type of environment they have. They did say they wanted someone with experience with HP Operations Manager. I've been able to find a little bit of information on Operations Manager but not a whole lot. I've even tried HPs website.

It's been a very long time since I've had to diagnose application issues. Anyone have any good resources on the basics of application troubleshooting? I sure could use a refresher on it.
