Navision on TS RemoteAPP and interaction with local Microsoft Office.

Just wander if somebody can answer for my question.
I’m working on project which part of this is moving Navision Server (support company is going to install latest version of the software and I will use Windows Server 2012) to hosting environment. To provide connection I plan to use Terminal Server with Remote APP.
Now my problem is Microsoft Office as licenses are quite expensive. I know there is some interaction between Navision client and Excel and just wander it is possible to get the same using TS RemoteAPP or do I have to install Office on Terminal Server?
I’m not quite sure what interaction is it but believe this will be some kind of opening files when you export data to Excel.
Does anybody have experience with this or similar configuration?
