Does anybody have experience with Azure Virtual Machines?

It is probably stupid question for somebody who knows Azure but I need to ask it as wasn’t able to get clear answer on internet.
I have no experience with public cloud only with private and now working on project for company which requires building private or public one. My problem is, I don’t know if Azure will do what I need and I need as follow:
•10 virtual servers based on windows (some 2008 R2, some 2003, one XP machine)
•Exchange with DB around 500GB – growing quite fast. I can’t use Office 365 because of some applications linked to it.
•Terminal server with remote apps
•SQL Server with Navision
•Some other different application’s machines
•All in one network terminated on Firewall which will provide remote connections, including VPN
•Backup of everything
•Licenses for everything
Will it work, or there are some limitations? What about licenses, do I need to provide them myself or somehow can purchase with Azure?
Can I expand Virtual machine later (I mean all parameters like processor, memory and HDD)?
Thank you

RomBUS Member Posts: 699 ■■■■□□□□□□I know that Windows Azure will not be able to run SQL or Terminal server because it is a stateful application, I believe the Virtual Machine role for Azure only runs stateless apps, and I believe any kind of DC role will not work either.
