Checklist for new office
Hello, my question is a little bit about assumption but reflects how you all work and what your advices are.
State : Let us assume that your company (worldwide) has a new office at another country. you and your team mate don't know anything about existing infrastructure at other offices. (both of you are newly hired) You two will be responsible of installing and configuring new Network site.
So, you need to:
* identify needs
* plan the solution
* implement the solution
* document the solution
Question: to do those things ( especially to identify the needs), what are your most essential / crucial questions ? what would you ask to gather the information you need ? basically what is your checklist ? Which questions will give you the right answers to gain accurate information about existing infrastructure and needs to be implemented ? where does a professional guy start from ?

1. Find out the goals, expected outcome.
2. See where things are at the moment.
3. Plan how to get from 2 to 1. This is where most of the detail comes in.
