This problem is only relavant to my 2620xm's when connected by seial. When I configure ipv6 on the serial interfaces, just as far as
config)ipv6 unicast-routing
config)interface serail 1/0
if)ipv6 enable
Once ive enable ipv6 on both ends of the serial link and connected the cable, the link flaps. With the error message
IPv6-IDB: Serial1/0 is down, IPv6 is (down, enabled): duplicate event ignored
This only happens on the serial not the fastethernet
The serial links use the mac address off of the fa0/1 interface
thanks

networker050184 Mod Posts: 11,962 ModCan you get the link to come up without IPv6 on it? Have you tried putting IPv6 addresses on there? An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
