Advice for a beginner

So i'm looking for some advice i'm still in higher education currently studying my A levels. The subjects that i'm studying are Electronics , Computing and a Btec level 3 Diploma in networking and systems support which include CCNA Discovery One and Two.

I was wondering what are the best certification to acquire early on and what's the best way to get into the world of networking.

Any advice would be appreciated

You can knock out the CompTIA Network+ very easily while going to school. CompTIA A+ is also very easy and will help you get a network tech job because you will do some hardware support. Then move onto CCENT as well.

Sounds like you are in a similar boat to me. I'm looking at studying towards CCENT and then going on to CCNA. If you are studying the cisco material in your course I would definitely first look CCNET.

If I was you I would focus on finishing my classes with the best possible grades and do certs on the side in this order A+ --> CCENT --> CCNA then look for a job. N+ just a lesser version of what you can get out of the CCENT IMO.

So i have completed The IT Essentials PC Hardware and software is this basicly the same as the CompTia A+ ? I have also completed CCNA Discovery 1 & 2 can i class that as CCENT or is there a separate exam that needs to be completed

Thanks for all the advice just wanted to clear some things up.

Do you mean you have completed the classes or you actually sat for exams? completing the classes does in no way give you the cert. You need to register at a Testing center (Pearson vue for Cisco) and get a passing score on the exam in order to have the cert.

Computer-Based Testing Provider for Certification and Licensure Exams: Pearson VUE for cisco

I have taken the IT essentials and CCNA Discovery 1 & 2 at my school . I have passed the classes on the Netcad site including the final exam of each CCNA Disovery and have been given a paper certificate signed by my instructor. Does this mean i have the certification or do i have to go testing centre ? i'm confused

I am not sure about the A+ to be completely honest but unless you sat in a chair at Pearson Vue and completed the 640-822 & 640-816 (ICND1 & 2) you do not have the Cisco cert.

edit : you could also take a Cisco exam at Cisco Live for the record

So this is my grade book for my first CCNA Discovery is this the pass you mean ? From what i know my school is a register cisco academy so would this qualify instead of going to Pearson Vue.

No, I went through the entire Cisco Academy with flying colors as well. You may have a certification saying you've completed the Cisco Academy courses, but it is not the same thing and won't be respected/valued/recognized like the CCNA, if recognized at all.

This is my understanding of it anyway.

Cisco Academy is really used to prepare you for the actual CCENT/CCNA exams. You still need to schedule and pass the exams at a testing center.
