Job hunt with telecom experience and a CCNA cert.!!

Hi,
I have a B.tech degree in Electronics & Communications and a post graduate diploma in telecom management with a work experience of 4 and a half years in the telecom sector.I moved to the UK and am currently looking for a job in this country.I am preparing for a CCNA certification as well (expecting this would help me in my job hunt).Is it a good idea to do the certification and what kind of jobs do I expect once I pass the test?Any telco jobs considering my experience?
