Question mark and Tab Key in lab sims

Are we allowed to use the question mark? and the tab key in the CCNA lab sims? are certain commands blocked aswell?

    As far as I'm aware ? is always fine. SOME commands are blocked in some sims. They'll block show run for example in order to get you to use more specific commands. The rule is, learn all the possible commands.

    Ok blocking show run is understandable.


    what about the tab key, i always use it. Do you know if its allowed? my spelling is diabolical (even though i just spelt diabolical right, it is trust me icon_smile.gif)

    Tab key and shorthand commands (ex. sh ip o n) are allowed.

    I just took the ICND1, the Tab key was actually disabled on most of my sims. But you can still type en? and it will show you enable as an option. I wouldn't worry about the Tab key to much honestly, you'll do fine if you know your stuff.

    I am not sure but I think talking about the sims are against the NDA.

    I don't see why in this sense - I'm sure Jeremy from CBT Nuggets also mentioned this.

    In both of my exams I could use the ? And the tab key. Some commands you can type but they won't work.
    Lab:
    Combination of GNS3 and Cisco equipment if required.
