alternative to putty connection manager?

in CCNA & CCENT
I can't get the putty connection manager to run on my Win 7. Was working fine then no more, no matter what reinstall I do.

Anyone recommends any other free software like the putty connection-manager?

    I had this problem, too. I had to right-click and Run as Administrator to fix it.

    Tera Term is what I use. I have used Putty in the past with no problems on Windows 7
