cme 4.01 lab question

If I can pickup some 2600xm router on the cheap. could I use CME 4.01 for pratice for the 640-461. or is rls 8.6 that much different. I was going to dive into the virtual route but got confused so I'm starting to look at real stuff again. What I was planning is build my cme with real then cucm with vmware(but not sure)

if you can get them for dirt cheap I would start there, to get your feet wet with dial-peers basic voip and so on, but i would suggest getting the newer stuff as soon as you can get the dough to get it.Currently Reading
