Bolt Down Server Rack - Modification?

At work, I use to have two bolt down server racks in my production environment. I recently got rid of some equipment and put everything onto one rack instead of two. It added some nice space to my server room 
But now I have this other rack that in completely useless and has been sitting in the attic for a few months. Has anyone ever modded a bolt on rack mount so that it has longer feet? I'd be tempted to take it home and use it in my lab but every option I think I could do, would look ugly as ... well.. you know.
Side note, if anyone in Iowa is looking for a 42u self cooling server cabinet, I have one for sell.
