When to start earning CPEs
Quick question... Does the clock start on having to earn CPEs commence after you are officially endorsed and receive your welcome package or does it start after you pass the exam? Im thinking it's after endorsement but I just want to make sure. Thanks

AnthonyF Member Posts: 109Starts after you earn the full CISSP designation (endorsment approved by ISC2). It has nothing to do with your exam. So if you were awarded CISSP on 24 OCT 12. Youe CPE cycle would start in 1 NOV 12.

Annual and Three-Year Cycle Requirements:
Annual CPE Requirement: 20 Domain-Related (Group A) CPE credits earned / submitted
Three-year Certification Cycle CPE Requirement: 120 CPE credits earned / submitted
Out of the required 120 CPEs, 80 CPEs must be Domain-Related Group A, which includes the annual CPE requirement. The remaining 40 CPES can be either Domain-Related Group A CPEs or General Education Group B CPEs.
