BGP ASN question
If you get a public BGP ASN number from a RIR (say APNIC for us Australian's) Can you use that same ASN to peer with people in other countries?
Basically my company is expanding to the USA - we have a public ASN from APNIC and I want to know if I can use that same ASN to peer in the US.
cheers,

Are you peering with another company in the US over the internet? Or are you going to be peering with them over a private link? -
