    There's nothing about ISDN on the current exam, I think the exam objectives you're talking about might be outdated. Have a look at the following link for an updated list of CCNA exam objectives:

    640-802 CCNA - IT Certification and Career Paths - Cisco Systems
    2018 goals: Security+, CCNA CyberOps (Cohort #6), eJPT, CCNA R&S 2019 goals: RHCE ????, OSCP || CISSP

    Yes,

    I know that but when it say's "Describe different methods for connecting to a WAN" it means the physical hardware like V.35 or different technologies like ATm or ISDN ?

    Event Todd Lammle book mention about ADSL, ISDN that it why i am confused

    By the way do you suggest reading the Cisco exploration CD or not ?

    Hi daras,

    We are seeing/reading those "old" WAN connectivity methods because of their kindness when they say the golden word "For Completeness Sake"

    basically the book that you have covers the fundamentals, just try to stick to the objective and you'll be fine.

    goodluck.

    Even then, I think it may be limited to knowing the channel bandwith (64k), and number of channels for BRIs and PRIs.
