Maximum time between 701 Exam and 702 Exam?
First things first. Hello my name is Ryan, and I'm studying for the A+ exams. I have been registered here for a few months and gained a lot of knowledge and tips off of these forums so far. So thanks for that!
I was wondering, if I sign up to do the 220-701 exam, do I have a certain amount of time before I have to take the 220-702 exam? Being that the exam cost around $175 each, I'm hoping to do them one at a time, and not have to worry about running out of time, i guess..

There isn't normally a time limit. However, the 701 and 702 exams will be retired on August 31, 2013 so that is your deadline to take both.
If you don't think that's enough time you can do the 801 and 802 exams. If you took the 801 today, you could take the 802 three years from now (or later depending on when those exams are retired.
A logical question that comes up with this is "can I take the 701 and then the 802 to get the A+ certification?" The answer is no. You can't mix and match the exams.
Good luck.
