Just getting started

I am gearing up for CCNA, I am wondering what is the most important part of it (Not just passing the test, but, Actually Knowing it). I know that the OSI layers have alot to do with the basics. I have that down (for the most part icon_scratch.gif) . I have access to routers and switches at work, so I guess that I'm lucky in that sense. I am just looking for the best way to proceed.

Well, you still got the Network+ fresh in mind, so you don't need to worry about networking basics. I don't think there is really one or a couple of really important topics, but being able to 'subnet', VLANs and switches, routing protocols, and basic router configuration + ins and out of the CLI (command-line interface) are essential.
