CCNP Advice Needed
Greetings all. I just passed the SWITCH exam (2nd attempt) yesterday and I need some advice on how to proceed. I passed the BSCI going on 3 years ago (Nov. 23, 2009). So, presently if I am able to pass the TSHOOT exam no later than Nov. 22, CCNP will be wrapped up. The problem is that the SWITCH exam took me a lot longer to knock out than I had hoped (no success on BCMSN and coupled with inconsistent study over the past three years). This has perhaps left me with an unreasonable amount of time to wrap the TSHOOT without having to first refresh my routing exam. So, given that I'm an experienced networking guy, would a couple weeks of routing refreshment (probably using Chris Bryant's material, which I already own) put me in a fair place to pass TSHOOT? Should I even attempt it or just start working on ROUTE?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

If it were me, I would study up on the routing protocols and go for it. The only issue you might run into is IPv6... I don't know if BSCI had any IPv6 on there? Depends on how much you know already

iproute Member Posts: 269Thanks for the reply. Yes, according to the CCNP Exam Combination Tool (CCNP Exam Combination Tool - Career Certifications & Paths - Cisco Systems), it should be fine. BSCI had IPv6 but I've not touched anything IPv6 related since then. That would have to be an area I hit pretty hard.CCNP Progress
