CISM Application - Verification

Anyone have any experience with filling out the CISM (or CISA) application and running into the issue of a previous employer no longer being available? A chunk of my previous work history is from a company that is no longer available, and I'm uncertain as to how I can contact any of my supervisors that I used to work with. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, the supervisor I had was quite abstained to technology (it was an age thing), which seems to have carried over into his abstinence of LinkedIn.

I'll have to give ISACA a ring and see what can be done about it.

Did you present the question to ISACA? If so, what was their response? I am in the process of filling out my application. I've given my past supervisors the heads up.
