I've attended the Hackfest conference in Quebec city last weekend. There was a presentation about physical pen testing techniques.
The speakers were doing a demo of the Proxmark 3. They showed how "easy" to clone a RFID tag (demo with the hotel access card) in just a few seconds.
You can find an interesting article here: Getting in with the Proxmark 3 and ProxBrute - SpiderLabs Anterior
Here are some web sites where you can order a Proxmark 3:

AlexNguyen Member Posts: 358 ■■■■□□□□□□I've ordered a Proxmark 3 board with antennas. I've received it and made some testings. There's no driver for Windows 8. The driver works with a Windows 7 VM (VMware Workstation).
I tested with a HID card and it can read and replay when connected to a computer. I ordered an USB battery pack to use it in standalone mode. I also ordered some blank T5557 cards for cloning test.
