OSPF question. how to determine which router is DR and BDR?
kypumper
I know that I determine which Router I want to be a DR or BDR by adjusting the OSPF Priority on the interface, or by using a loopback interface.
My question is once OSPF is configure what command will tell you that a specific router or interface is DR or BDR?

with the command : show ip ospf neighbor you can see the neighbors' id.
But I don't think that you can see well-defined who is DR or BDR.

Use the command "show ip ospf interface" or "show ip ospf neighbor".
