Help with Exchange Server... Address book starts and then stops.
Ok, So all other services are working fine but this one. It states that sometimes the service will start and then stop if it is not supposed to be used. This is a BS message as I know thats not the case. So, since I know Exchange uses the Global Catalog, that was the first place I looked. I went into the MMC, checked the Sites and Servers plug in, went to the Server hosting the Site Catalog, which happens to be the Domain Controller. Everything looked good.... I checked the box to "enable caching" as it was not checked, but it still seems that it did not resolve the issue....
Any other ideas how to resolve this error? It is really fustrating me and I need the address service to work properly so it resolves email addresses etc properly.
I have checked the Event Log, and it doesn't log anything other than the above message, so it makes it really hard to troubleshoot. All other exchange services are running as intended.

By default exchange creates an offline address book at 0400 every morning. That would be the only time that it really needs to run. From reading this post, it is hard to understand exactly what the problem is that you are having.
