Port Scanning on Switches

I spent a few hours going through a load of switches MAC Address tables looking for certain MACs.
I basically went onto each switch individually, using the show mac-address table | inc .xxxx for each MAC and done this on each switch to see where they were plugged in. Is there anything out there that could have automated this or made my life easier, e.g I have the MAC address and want to know quickly what switch and what port it is plugged into....?

Commercial - Network Monitoring Software | Network Performance Monitor | Network Management Software - ManageEngine OpManager (Switch Port Mapper feature does this)
I suspect other commercial products do this as well.
