Had to have this for a DOD job I'm starting next weekicon_cheers.gif.

Used Darril's book, CBT Nuggets, Professor Messer Vids and trolled this board.

Going forward, can anyone recommend a SSCP book?

Congratulations on the pass and good luck with the new job!

I can recommend an SSCP book, but I might be a little biased.

    Good luck.

    Congrats on the pass.

I'm taking mine in a couple days. Seeing how everything is still fresh for you, any advice you can give to me? Any specific topics I should make sure I cover? Any sticking points during your own studying or during the exam itself?

I have Darril Gibson's book and going thru it everything seems easy. Too easy. I'm somewhat afraid I'm gonna get to the exam and be surprised at the questions. Studying for the Net+ didn't go anywhere near as smooth as this.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed

As you will probably find on other threads, the key is really knowing the topics and not just which answer is correct but why the other ones are not correct. Take your time and read the questions fully and carefully as some of them are worded a little strangely; you have plenty of time so don't sweat it. You have the right book so you're good there. Can't reveal a whole lot about the exam content wise but the exam objectives percentages that you see in the book were pretty close to what I saw; network security, threats, compliance more than encryption. Good Luck!

I meant another book as your SSCP All-In-One guide will be the first one I get; actually already ordered it.icon_thumright.gif
