hi everyone,
today i dusted off my homelab because i wanted to lab a little.
to put some load on the thing i decided to use one of my netbooks as an ftp server, but i coudnt get a connection
from my PC which is connected via my netgear router to the switchrack.
i then pinged the pc from the netbook an everything goes fine.
i even can access the internet from the netbook attached to the switchrack.
i then connected another pc to the same switch an they cannot ping eachother but everything which is outside the switch (internet, my home server etc)
i even see every machine in every arp table. but as soon as i try to ping something connected to the switch it goes timeout. i can ping the vlan interface from the connected hosts but not the other way round.
there are no access lists on the switches, dafault gateway is set, and ports are in the same vlan, and there is no firewall blocking anything on the hosts.
i can also access the ftp server of my home server from the netbook, but ftp from home server to netbook does not work.
any suggestions?
