Exam 702 -- Regarding CMD switches
runeba
Are the only CMD switches you're expected to know the ones listed on the syllabus, or are you suppose to know every switch for the listed CMD commands on the syllabus?
For instance, the syllabus lists three switches for COPY (a/v/y), but none for "DIR," even though "DIR" has a tone of switches that the study guide I'm going through now covers! Do DIR switches pop up on these tests?

For the most part, any switch is fair game and CompTIA might put any of them on the exam. That said, you can usually focus on the switches mentioned in the objectives for the majority of questions.
There are exceptions though. For example, in Objective 2.1 SFC is listed without any switches, but you should know about them. This is primarily because SFC won't run without some switch.
