I did not try it to see if it works (need to install Python or a C++ compiler on my host machine).

Kind of cool and I could see some uses for it. I should point out, though, that this attack will hypothetically work on any type of host system, regardless of virtualization software and operating system. If the host is compromised, it is all but a foregone conclusion to say that the guests are compromised (full-disk encryption on the guest systems will still prevent access to them).
