MCSE Server Infrastructure

So I wont be starting my masters degree until March and I am thinking of doing 413 and 414. Has anyone done these two exams yet? If so, what did you use to study? I have a feeling these exams will be pretty difficult.

I was thinking of waiting until December for 413 when this book ships
Exam Ref 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure: Steve Suehring: 9780735673670: Amazon.com: Books

Maybe taking the exam in Jan or Feb. Then doing 414 shortly after that. The 414 book doesnt ship until Jan though.
Exam Ref 70-414: Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure: Mike Danseglio, Avril Salter: 9780735674073: Amazon.com: Books

    Hi MrAgent,

First, congratulations to your success! Second, I noticed that you have passed Server 2012 MCSA certifications, have you used any reference book for the 70-410 study? Currently, I'm thinking about purchasing the 70-410,411,412 bundle -

Cert Prep Pack: MCSA Windows Server 2012 (Exam Ref 70-410, 70-411, 70-412): Ian McLean, Jason Kellington, Kurt Dillard: 9780735673861: Amazon.com: Books

What are your thought of these 3 books?

    Thanks!
    Jerry

I know you asked this a while but I guess the OP will have taken the 70-417 upgrade exam to go from MCITP:VA to MCSA 2012. 70-417 is a combination of 410,411 and 412. Plus I'm not sure if all of those books are out yet. Some definitely aren't.

Those books are going to be good. There is not a huge amount of literature for these exams, and since these are from Microsoft they be worth picking up.

Sorry didnt see this sooner. I did in fact take the 70-417 upgrade exam. I wish the books were available when I took my exam, it probably would have made studying a bit easier.

All I used was the blueprint and technet. Im sure having books is better than not having any books. MS press usually does a decent job.

@Ivanjam I got accepted into that Masters program that I provided a link to. I start next month!

@MrAgent - good luck on the MS program - start a thread so we can follow your progress. icon_thumright.gif
I checked out the program but they charge over $1,000 per credit for out-of-state people.
