Is this thing hard? I've been studying for three weeks now (Passport, CompTIA Practice Exams, Learn Smart) and am considering taking it next month. Does that sound like a good idea? I know that nobody can guarantee that I pass, and I know there's a chance I won't, but I'm just asking for reccomendations.

As others have said in different threads.. it all comes down to your experience and prior knowledge. I studied on and off for a while and really buckled down for a month and did fine without any experience.
The test isnt all that hard, just some of the questions are worded weird.

@ Michael2
It is not such a hard exam. if you passed Sec+ (worded similarly), you should be fine if you put in enough time. I studied for 3 weeks straight and passed both with about 2 days between the two exams.

Thank you for responding to my post, icehead.

hey no problem.. Ive been helped out a bunch as well on here.
I see you have sec+. How was it? im looking to do net+ then sec+

Sec+ isn't all that difficult. The test is largely definitions. There's a few things about procedures and practices. I understand CompTIA's making all its test harder with more performance-based questions, though.
