Question
Does anyone know if you can claim the price of the exam on your taxes as a deductible? Say further education or advancing skills?

If you are a w-2 employee, then unless you are already itemizing deductions, I doubt it would be beneficial to start for the price of a few tests.

Having a tax professional you can talk with is always the best course of action though. -

I know that if you have a technical business, you can claim the price of exams, books, technical subscriptions, and professional fees as business expenses.
