Get paid for hacking? It's not just for movies anymore!
Found this on digg.com:
TippingPoint, part of 3Com, produces intrusion prevention systems for computer systems and, in order to get a leg up on the competition, they have started offering money in exchange for the disclosure of new security vulnerabilities.

Noods Member Posts: 168Im glad someone started doing this. The hackers that do it and throw it to public eyes get prosecuted. Such talent wasted.

Buying exploits is a neat concept they have actually been doing it for a few years now. Often times though the person that sales the exploit isnt the person that created the code. Or they sale it and then a day or so later go ahead and release it to the internet.
Either way its good to see people making money off security.
