Help required regarding CCNA

I am a network engineering student so i am familiar with all networking fundamentals. But what troubles me is practicing on real equipments. Do i need to buy Cisco routers/switches to pass the exam ??

If there are any online simulation softwares available, let me know.

Personally, I dont put much stock in simulators. The free ones suck, and the expensive ones cost more then a home lab would. 2500 series routers are cheap. 2950 series switchs are expensive, but their help with study is worth it.
