Windows Clipboard Problems
The Windows Clipboard has a few shortfalls:
preferable features list could be:
set macros for saved: Ctrl v, plus 1, Ctrl v, pluse 2, ... or whatever macro that you want.
The Windows Clipboard has a few shortfalls:
- Only one item stored at a time
- Each new copy replaces the last
- Clips are not remembered between sessions
- You can't easily preview data in the Windows Clipboard
preferable features list could be:
set macros for saved: Ctrl v, plus 1, Ctrl v, pluse 2, ... or whatever macro that you want.

Claymoore Member Posts: 1,637I guess I don't understand the problem. The clipboard is only a transitional step for me - I usually go from whatever program to the clipboard to OneNote. Screen captures, text, whatever I need to keep goes to OneNote; the clipboard is only a way to get it there. I have never considered using the clipboard as a clutter bin to hold random bits of info for an extended time.

If you know that you will enter the same user name, or data all day, instead of retyping the user name xxxxxxxxxccc@frdev.com /data 29Lv160-cvt / any string of syntax, or text; using a temporary, timed, or permanently stored clipboard retrievable, that will be selectable and, paste-able.
Here is one example, I wanted to know if any were good or liked.

I don't want to re-highlight and copy; just hit: Ctrl, + V, then my varaible key. -
tpatt100 Member Posts: 2,991 ■■■■■■■■■□I only use OneNote also for storing random stuff, I also use SpringPad for online organizing of stuff.
Couldn't you use macros for this? (not sure how thought haven't used them in forever) -

Try these apps - I think it's what you are looking for. I haven't tried any of them but you may find that one of them does what you need.
