anyone burned out

Hey guys i started a new job and i kind of feel burned out.

I AM hired as a salariéd empployee and on average i do 10 hours a Day.

I work as a infrastructure consultant and get paid 55k (no over time)

I being here a month and i learned so much stuff.



I actually believe i learned so much stuff and thé growth has being crazy which is good.

Anyone else feel this?

    Im a consultant its a intermediate level and i do office 365 deployement, Server support, build démos for pré sales, look after client and internal infrastructure, consult client managers on Cloud services That ms offer do 3rd level support and mentor and help juniors

    It happens to most people at some point/time(s) in their career so you're not alone.

    When it happens to me, I simply don't do anything work related at home. I can get burned out due to self-learning the same stuff I do at work all day but at night as well. I take however long it takes for the feeling to go away. Sometimes it's a day, sometimes several days. Watch some movies, catch up on some tv shows, xbox, etc.

    I used to, now I just don't look at a computer except when I am at work. If you are the type to leave work, go home, sit on facebook chat, read blogs, start lab work for a cert etc it will get old quick.

    Yep I get burned out all the time.

    Pumping the breaks like you mentioned and doing other things is a good way to sustain work.

    Keep taking short meaningful breaks, it helps a lot. I try for a few days off every 6 months to go for long drives/holiday generally escape. Keeps me from burning out

    What country are you from? Can't be UK if 55K salary.
