Hey guys i started a new job and i kind of feel burned out.
I AM hired as a salariéd empployee and on average i do 10 hours a Day.
I work as a infrastructure consultant and get paid 55k (no over time)
I being here a month and i learned so much stuff.
I actually believe i learned so much stuff and thé growth has being crazy which is good.
Anyone else feel this?

kgb Member Posts: 380It happens to most people at some point/time(s) in their career so you're not alone.
When it happens to me, I simply don't do anything work related at home. I can get burned out due to self-learning the same stuff I do at work all day but at night as well. I take however long it takes for the feeling to go away. Sometimes it's a day, sometimes several days. MiikeB Member Posts: 301I used to, now I just don't look at a computer except when I am at work. If you are the type to leave work, go home, sit on facebook chat, read blogs, start lab work for a cert etc it will get old quick.Graduated - WGU BS IT December 2011

Pumping the breaks like you mentioned and doing other things is a good way to sustain work. -
pumbaa_g Member Posts: 353Keep taking short meaningful breaks, it helps a lot. I try for a few days off every 6 months to go for long drives/holiday generally escape.
