Hello all,
I was going through the "Do I know this already?" section of chapter 12 of the CCENT/CCNA ICND1 640-822 Official Cert Guide, 3rd Edition and reviewing my answers, when I noticed some odd numbers in the text.
Question #3's answer in the back appendix reads as:
"Seven subnet bits could, because 27 = 128 => 100. Similarly, 6 host bits is not enough, because 26-2 = 62, but 7 host bits is enough, because 27-2 = 126 =>100."
Reference: CCNA 640-802 Official Cert Library, Updated - Wendell Odom - Google Books
I imagine that what they are meaning to say above is, 2^7 = 128 => 100, not just 27.
I am right in thinking this is a typo?

You could always check the errata if you think there's an error in the publication
