I was reading article published by CMU ( Carnegie Mellon University ) Security researcher, that for programmers who wish to enter into security domain should have CSSLP or ECSP or both.
I tried to find out more about EC-Council Certified Secure Programmer, but I got only course outline over the internet. No book no video tutorials nothing. Can anyone please let me know why it is so?
Is it newly introduce Cert by EC-Council or is it something like OSCP for which you will not get book or materials out of their login area?

JayTheCracker Member Posts: 169eccouncil official textbooks are so hard to find as soft-copies...
u have to attend the official training & book exam & order official exam kits....
only in that way, u can get the hard-copies as exam kits... it's not a popular certificate, so 3rd party study materials are hard to find too.... -

ESCP courseware: http://www.eccouncil.org/courses/ec-council_certified_secure_programmer.aspx
The OSCP is about application penetration testing and does not test the candidate on knowledge of secure coding practices, but rather on the candidate's ability to exploit insecurities in software design, implementation, and configuration.
