I'm not familiar with course offerings in the UK, but just curious...is someone paying for this for you? If not, I'd urge you to consider self-study as a more economical option. If you've got an employer paying, though...go for it.

Yes im planning on my employer paying, i will self-study as well. The 6 day course is no way enough, but is good to work on kit and get to know other engineers etc.

I would have preferred to do it over 9 weeks going to class 2 days a week for a few hours but the local colleges and university have stopped doing them due to lack of interest
