Stored RDP Credentials when connecting to server in the domain *issues* ?

I don't know when this started, after a patch or servicepack etc.
I just noticed that most times RDP sessions initially fail with a credential error.
The credentials certainly work but when reconnecting, it fails regardless and you have to enter the password again.
Is this a funny bug / a GP or something ?
This is when connecting to 2008R2 server in a domain (client W7) ....
Edit: Should have read the error properly (System Admin does not allow saved credentials) - guess its a GP after all.
