Concerns of Connecting Unmanaged Switch/Hubs to Network

Are there any issues with plugging in small switches (small 4..ish ports) into the wall ports at work to allow multiple PCs to share the connection, if for example only one wall port was available.Talking about the Belkin/Netgear etc..

Could cause problems. Your best bet is to ask who ever runs the network to avoid any issues.

Even if you think that it won't cause a problem, I suggest you ask. If you work in a large enterprise that is highly regulated, it could be a policy or risk violation. Where I work, it could be grounds for employment termination.

I had a related question: by adding more and more switches, is it possible to consumer all the dhcp ip's? or pass the subnet allowed ip's?

You usually wouldn't have your switches being assigned an IP via DHCP, but it possible to have more hosts than addresses in your range and deplete the pool.
