Creating Local user

Logged into vsphere client on esxi host, when trying to create a local user on the host there is no Users group in the drop down list.




If look at Groups on the host there are none. If i try to add a Group called Users, i get this:



Seems as though Users is a built-in group but why is not showing up?

According to a co-worker of mine the ability to create local users is gone in 5.1, but it looks like you can still do this, he says he is getting the same error, so is this 5.1 ?

VMware vSphere 5.1

In the fine print it says local users not supported.
