I figure I should finally post something as one of those long time lurkers/first time posters. Didn't seem like there was a thread/forum for hello topics.
My internet footprint is pretty visible already, so here I am! Mark Spellman | LinkedIn
Career is fairly young at this point so I do desktop support at a private women's college in the Boston area. I'm ultimately more interested in IT management than tech work, so my cert ambitions aren't as crazy as most people's on this forum. I basically plan on picking up CCNA and MSCE Server to develop towards a "technical IT director" resume as I start that career long CIO journey.
I'm more focused on my MS in IT Management (then MS Project Management/PMP) at Brandeis. Decided to go with Brandeis over WGU because in the Boston area, education is highly valued and Brandeis carries name recognition, is fully accredited and 4/10 classes I do for MS IT Management will also count towards MS Project Management.
So hello! Boston always shows up on the tech jobs hot spots; anyone else from the area?
