Yes it is more or less that same type of technology to accomplish the same goal.

Thanks! I have a question with the VCP slots, you see I'm debating an issue that currently this enviroment I'm setting up for test is only using 1 SLOT per 4500 that I'm connecting. To my knowledge I would not have full redundant / bandwidth capabilities correct?

Nvm, found out that I'm missing one cable for them to be properly daisy chained.
