It's been a while since I've posted here! Anyway, not sure if anyone is even studying for CCIE Storage but I thought I would share just in case. Either move fast or change tracks to Data Center instead
Effective February 5, 2013, Cisco has announced the imminent retirement of the Cisco CCIE® Storage Networking certification. The details are as follows:
The CCIE Storage Networking certification is made up of two exams: the written exam and the lab exam. The last date to test for the written exam is April 30, 2013. As of May 1, 2013, no written exams will be offered for the CCIE Storage Networking certification. The last date to test for the lab exam is June 30, 2013. As of July 1, 2013, no lab exams will be offered for the CCIE Storage Networking certification.
As of July 1, 2013, candidates pursuing a CCIE Storage Networking certification who have passed their written test but not successfully passed the lab exam should consider the CCIE Data Center certification or a Data Center Specialist certification.

Hopefully they will remove the slot for this and add in another Datacenter pod for testing!CCIE Sec: Starting Nov 11
