Are any of you folks on the forums a SA here?! I am busy looking at how i want my career to unfold and are looking at various options.

I was hoping someone could inform me of the skills you need for a SA role, the process they usually follow to complete their tasks on a project, the kind of tools used to complete the tasks and your general thoughts on the role?

I am not an SA but a colleague is and one of the things he's always saying is - Become good and quick at Visio. Another thing he recommends is to take public speaking classes if one is uncomfortable in front of audiences. He also uses OneNote to keep all his stuff in one place. Clear articulation is probably paramount in this kind of role.

Werent you an SA already nel or is that the direction you want to head in?

My job is a similar role to a solutions architect. Like above you need to have solid speaking skills. Also, you should be good at working with people, even non technical folks.
