    Can these notes all be put together like the Network+ notes? I just wondered. Those were great all bundled together like that! Thanks for all of the help and assistance this site provides. When I become rich and famous, I'll donate some of my riches to this site :)

    We won't combine the TechNotes into a PDF until we covered all the exam objectives at least to some extend. Basically the online TechNotes are chapters in the PDF, so it would be incomplete/missing some chapters.

    I'm working on getting the printerfriendly versions back up, currently for some other exams but they should be back online on/before next Monday.

    Hi,

    Is the technotes changed as per new syllabus? These notes are of immense help in understanding the subject. For 201 syllabus all notes converted then i can focus on it. Just confirm

    Security+ 101 and 201 are the test questions
    different is there really some new material
    in SYO-201?

    Yes there is new material, look on Amazon.com. The new test has new material which can be found on CompTIA.org.

    are these technotes structured the same as the SY0-301 exam? The objectives seem a little off.

    Rule based is pretty much an ACL. Role based is NTFS permissions for example.
