IRQ I/O Address Number Memory?
A few weeks ago someone posted a great mnemonic memory tip that helped one remember the I/O addresses that corresponds to the IRQ and Port. It was some numbers. I would really like to find that know, I wished I would have jotted that down. Can anyone remember that for me or point me into the direction to that message on this forum. Thanks. Much appreciated.

Write the above vertical numbers first than the letters (7's are separate) all end with an '8'.
3F8
2F8
3E8
2E8
378
278
In order write: COM 1-4 and LPT 1&2
3F8: COM 1
2F8: COM 2
3E8: COM 3
2E8: COM 4
378: LPT 1
278: LPT 2
That's the one I know of.Plantwiz

***I'll add you can Capitalize the word 'I' to show a little respect for yourself too.
'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -
