I just deleted 1000 transactions from my inventory database by accident.

The lastest backup i have is from last night.

How can i recover these records.

Please help?

ahmm... sorry dumb terminal. you might have noticed that I've changed the subject of your post. Well the Question of the Day thread is for questions you have answers for only. ;) Very official with exam objectives. :D I'm sure we'll get somone to answer your questions for you. I'll give it a try too.

You'll have to do a transaction log recovery for sure if you haven't backed up the rows you've deleted accidently. But i'll have to do a little confirmation on that part.

In the meanwhile, thanks for joining TechExams. icon_lol.gif

    you are right
only way to get back the data is to do a transaction log back-up. if there is a full back up made before. if not. icon_sad.gif sorry

if there is a full back up then you do a transaction log backup. to recover the data you restore the data files then do the transaction log's restore with no recovery and on the last transaction log restore you do with recovery

note: I'm not an expert :) I'm prepareing for the exam myself
