Booked and ready to go. Have read Mike Meyers N10-005 and I am no reading the relevant Exam Cram and doing Port memorizing and OSI quizs. Need to find more quizs for stuff I need to memorize. Other than that all is going well. Seem to be getting early 800s in practice exams. Would like that in the 900s by exam time

Cheers Baack, its more memorizing things like T and E lines, the troubleshooting order and Cat speeds.
I'm good with all the theory

I remember a couple of t line questions, t-1 and t-3 only
Maybe E lines if your in europe
No copper questions
Had a few on fiber optics
Oh yeah troubleshooting was big

Cheers mate. I'm only half way through the cram book and haven't got to the troubleshooting theory order yet.
I may have to make my own quiz for it

There's me thinking I was going to breeze through the exam

You're over a month away, it's good to be humbled every now and then. It'll help you stay sharp and keep to your preparations. Just don't let it scare you off.

I agree, it was just so out of the blue

That happened to me just prior to the Microsoft MTA 98-366 which I took last month, it does surprise you. When I was collected I reviewed why and it turned out I was spending too much time on areas I had essentially mastered, most likely because it felt comfortable.

Thats a good shout I have really been hammering common ports.
I have only been doing 20 question exams so it may be that occasionally I get a lot of subjects I am weak on bunched together.
When I do full exams I get in the mid 800s. Not great but not bad.
It seems security is my weakest area
